We decided to leave Norway today for Sweden.

So we turn left south of Rognan and drive on road 77 towards the border.

Here the road is closed and we are directed to the left to the customs building.

There is also a police car here, but there is no one to be seen anywhere. The Norwegians could care less if we leave the country. At the moment, however, it also looks as if they don't care who comes in. Sweden is not on the Norwegians' quarantine list either.

We make our first stop immediately after crossing the border to capture the beautiful weather and the great landscape.

Here in Sweden we are now driving on road 95, the Silvervägen.

We really like the landscape with its many lakes.

And our overnight spot high above Arjeplog at over 700 m above sea level offers a magnificent panoramic view.

We insist on walking all the way up to the summit. There are some antennas here that are buzzing loudly in the wind. We feel much more comfortable a little further down.

The weather is constantly changing. We enjoy every minute up here.

Woke up by accident! A look outside!

Wow, here they are! Not as intense as in other years, but we enjoy it and are happy!

We enjoy a wonderful day in Swedish Lapland.

The night was a bit short, so we're just going to take it easy today.

Photo stop follows photo stop. We have to capture the landscape.

Already in the early afternoon we reach once again the Sandsjögarden Holiday Resort of Caroline and Daniel Schafer.

We called yesterday and found out that the restaurant was open. We didn't want to miss out on that. We already know the excellent cuisine from previous stays.

We enjoy the aperitif at our parking spot.

A really great rainy weather greets us in the morning!

We set off on today's route at around 10 a.m. We don't yet know exactly where we're headed.

And that’s the great thing about motorhome driving.

At Wilhelmina we spontaneously turn on our indicators and drive towards Stekenjok.

We stop for lunch at Trapstegsforsen and then climb higher.

On the plateau, some access roads to overnight accommodation and niches were barricaded with stones.

The wind whips across the plain.

We drive a little further down and find our place to stay overnight. It's not really any less windy here, but we stay anyway.

The hope for the Northern Lights is probably the last to die.

The night was very windy and loud. We didn't see any northern lights.

We continue south, towards the warmth.

In Gädede we go shopping and fill up with diesel.

And then we get a little further than expected.

The weather, especially the temperatures, are moderate. The first parking spot we were aiming for doesn't even exist. We actually know the second one and it's a stopgap solution. And while we're still driving, I find the perfect spot for us in park4night. After a long day of driving, we find ourselves with only one neighbor by a lake in absolute silence and a wonderful view.

This is how we would like to end this day.

The night was starry and quiet. We slept wonderfully. And so, after a very pleasant morning, we drove past the ICA in Klövsjö and paid the voluntary 100 SEK for the overnight stay. We are happy about everyone who does this so that places like this can be preserved for a long time to come.

And perhaps the municipality of Klövsjö can still be convinced that at least a waste container would be appropriate for this price.

A beautiful drive in glorious weather takes us on a partly unknown route to Nunsnäs on Lake Siljan. Of course we have to pay a visit to the Dala horse shop.

But then we are inevitably drawn to Kullara. What does the place look like there, especially in this

"Corona year"?

We are very pleasantly surprised - we are the first to arrive here.

It takes about 15 minutes and suddenly there are five of us standing there. But that's all there is and it's absolutely fine.

On this special day we treat ourselves to the last raclette with a fine Dôle Blanche. Simply delicious.

A bright, beautiful day and after a cool start it becomes really pleasantly warm.

The e-bikes come out of the garage again. We use them to go for a ride around the Söllerön peninsula. A quick shopping trip to the Coop and then we head back to Pfüdi.

And that's the end of the day. Now all that's left is to enjoy, enjoy, enjoy.

Fog over Lake Siljan creates a mystical atmosphere.

We continue our journey south.

Compared to the conditions we have had in recent weeks, there is a lot of traffic today.

But we arrive safely in Amal and are parked here on the beautiful spot by the harbor.

With pleasant temperatures we can enjoy the afternoon outside.
